Our Doctors
Dr. Marsha Kubica is a native of Omaha an alumnus of Burke High School and Kearney State College. She then attended Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. She returned to Omaha to practice optometry in private practice. Dr. Kubica practices complete family vision care, including contact lenses, pre and post operative care for surgical patients, treatment of anterior diseases and prescription glasses and sports wear.
Dr. Kubica is a member of the American Optometric Association, Sports Vision Section and Contact Lens Section. She also enjoys taking part in the community through civic organizations, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, GOG and Bethany Lutheran church.
Outside of the office, Dr. K keeps busy with her husband and three children. There is always something to do, see and plan for the next Kubica activity. For some personal time Dr. Kubica enjoys, going to the gym, tennis and scrapbooking.
Dr. Corey Langford got his first pair of glasses in first grade after his mother noticed him closing one eye to read - a common coping mechanism for kids with double vision. Many trips to the optometrist throughout his life led Dr. Langford to pursue a career in the field after graduating from Beatrice High School and earning a degree in chemistry from The University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Dr. Langford graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. After graduation, Dr. Langford completed an optional year of training with ophthalmologic specialists in Philadelphia.
He moved to Omaha in 2002 and took over Graves Vision Clinic, which became Omaha Eye Care. In 2008 Dr. Langford merged his practice with Omaha Primary Eye Care, PC. Dr. Langford has had articles published in various optometric journals and was named the 2009 Nebraska Young OD of the Year Award. Dr. Langford has been elected to the executive team of the Nebraska Optometric Association and is serving as its president in 2012.
Dr. Langford enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. Dr. Langford also is an active member of Band of Brothers, a men's ministry founded at King of King's Lutheran Church. Dr. Langford's hobbies include hiking 14ers and playing baseball in a Omaha's Patriot League.
Aimee
Aimee joined Omaha Primary Eye Care in October 2007 as a front desk receptionist. She has a 5 year old daughter and enjoys reading and spending time with friends.
Carrie, CPO
Born and raised in Omaha. Carrie graduated from Ralston High School and Wayne State College. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Merchandising. She has been playing piano for 30+ years.
Carrie joined Omaha Primary Eye Care full-time in 2003 as a Contact Lens Technician and also assists in office administration. She became CPO certified in 2003 and recertified in 2007.
Carrie is happily married to Patrick. They have two children, Vincent and Mia. When they have free time, they enjoy playing music, different sports and playing with the kids and two miniature schnauzers.
Mary Kay
Born and raised in Omaha, Mary Kay graduated from Benson High School. She went on to attend Dental Assisting School and become a Certified Dental Assistant. After working in the dental field full and part-time for 35 years she retired summer of 2005.
Mary Kay joined Omaha Primary Eye Care over 17 years ago as a Contact Lens Technician. She enjoys working with the patients and the fellowship of her co-workers.
She is happily married to Bill and they have four adult children between them. They are proud grandparents to five beautiful girls and one handsome boy.
Mary Kay enjoys antiquing, traveling, and spending time with lifelong friends and family.
Mary
Mary is a St. Louis native and has been in Omaha since 2004. She has been a Contact Lens Technician with Omaha Primary Eye Care since October 2005.
She is happily married to Randy and they have three children living in St. Louis. Her oldest daughter, Krista, is married to Chris and they have two daughters, Payton & Ashtyn. Her son, Shawn, is employed at an engineering company. Her youngest daughter, Lindsey, is a nurse working at a hospital in Lake St. Louis..
Mary enjoys exercising and spending time with her family.
Lisa
Lisa was born and raised in Omaha and she is a graduate of Burke High School. After a long career in a family business, Lisa joined Omaha Primary Eye Care in March 2011 as a Front Desk Receptionist and has recently begun training as a Technician.
Lisa has been married to her husband Jerry for twenty five years. They have two children, Gabriel and Katherine, and are eagerly anticipating their first grandchild.
Lisa enjoys spending time with family, friends, quilting and baking.
Brea, CPO, ABO
Brea is originally from Hartington, NE. She graduated in 2004 from Cedar Catholic High School. She earned her degree in pre-medicine and Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2009. She recently was married to her long-time boyfriend, Brett..
Brea joined the practice as an optician and contact lens technician in January of 2007. She has earned certifications with both the American Optometric Association (CPO) and the American Board of Opticianry (ABO).
Brea enjoys working out, playing sports, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She loves humor and has an enormous passion for baking for her fellow coworkers. She likes holidays, gummies, and kids - and dislikes spiders, storms and mushy cherries.
Patty, CPO, ABO
Patty joined Omaha Primary Eye Care as an Optician in September 2008. She was a member of Dr. Langford's staff at Omaha Eye Care and has worked in the optical business for 20+ years. She has earned certifications with both the American Optometric Association (CPO) and the American Board of Opticianry (ABO). She enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching football and is a big football fan..
Susie
Susie is the Optical Manager and joined Omaha Primary Eye Care in November of 2008. She is a Vision Source Representative and has held past office positions with the Nebraska Paraoptometric Association. Susie and her husband, Loren, are members of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and she volunteers her time doing Care Call Ministry with the elderly. Most important, they are Nanee and Grandpa to eight grandchildren.
Kristus
Kristus joined Omaha Primary Eye Care in April 2010 as an optician. Outside the office Kristus hold her certification in digital photography and has her own photography business. Kristus was recently married to Kyle and she loves to spend time with her family and watching Husker football!
